In loving memory of Vieno Maki, 95 years who passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016 at Health Sciences North. Beloved wife of Walter E. Maki (predeceased 2002). Loving mother of Don Maki (predeceased 2010) (Helen). Cherished grandmother of Stephanie Borsato (Mario) and Shelley Maki (Serge Ranger). Vieno was predeceased by her parents and siblings. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. She loved knitting, gardening and her four legged friends. A special thanks to Dr. Bansal for all your kindness and support. A Memorial Service will be held at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 1114 Auger Ave., Thursday March 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome after 10:30a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Calvin Presbyterian Church, Maison Vale Hospice or Pet Save.
