With great sadness, the family announces the passing of Gilles at the age of 67, on Friday, March 7, 2025 peacefully at the Maison McCulloch Hospice surrounded by family.
He was the son of the late Leo and Georgette (Boisvenue) Marleau. Predeceased by brother Michel Marleau, Carole Larocque (Michel), Richard Marleau (Micheline), Claude Marleau, Ginette Brosseau (Armand), Chantal Marleau also survived by sister Yvette Marleau and Charlotte Ayotte (Richard), along with many nieces and nephews and best friend Dave.
Throughout his life he found great joy spending time outdoors, enjoying Jays and Maple Leaf games. Family was his greatest source of pride and never missed an opportunity to be with them.
Our family is deeply grateful for all the care provided by the Nurses on 5 South at Health Sciences North. Our deepest gratitude goes out to all the Nurses, PSWs, Volunteers, and the management at Maison McCulloch Hospice, Sudbury for their kindness and compassion extended to our family.

Mass and Celebration of Life will be held at Paroisse Sacré-Coeur, 144 Main Street, Sturgeon Falls on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 10:00a.m.
