It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William J McFarlane, aka (wild willy). August 19th, 1933, to September 11th, 2022.
Loving father to Debbie (Tim predeceased), Julie (Paul), Frankie (Sandy), Tena (Tom). Cherished grandpa of Kas, Chantalle, Nathan, Aimee, Tasha, Craig, Terri-Lynn, Tyler, Dustin, Kassy and Jasmine and 14 great- grandchildren. Bill enjoyed the outdoors, he loved to quad, camp, and fish at the North River. All bets were on him to catch the biggest pickerel. He also was a great guitar player and the life of the party. He was a veteran and worked as a heavy equipment operator.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Pet Save or any animal shelter.
A big thank you to veteran’s affairs for all their help and compassion.
Celebration of life to be held at a later date.
We wish to express our deepest condolences. We camped with Bill for many years at the East Branch. Bill was quite the character and constantly made us laugh. We laughed even if we had heard the story before. He always added a “newly remembered” fact. We will miss him dearly but those stories will be etched in our memories for ever.
Sincerely, Arlene & Junior.

I am sorry to hear that Bill left us.
As a teenager I had a fond memories of listening to Bill playing the guitar and singing.. Hank Williams songs.
Bill truly was the life of the party… generous, kind and lots of fun.
All the best Bill.
