Michaud, Raymond “Ray”

In loving memory of Peter Raymond Michaud, 76 years.  Peacefully at home, Saturday July 10^th with loving family at his side and in his heart.  He will be lovingly missed by wife Barbara of 53 years.  Loving father of Monique of Sudbury, Nicole of St. Catherines, Michelle (Jay) and Raymond (Jennifer) all of Sudbury.  Cherished pepère of Alicia (Josée), Shelby, Alexx, Chasen, Reilly, Rubin (Mia), Kelsey (Mathew), Carter and Jordan.  Proud great grandfather of eight.  Beloved son of Lucille Bourget and Wilfred Michaud (predeceased) and predeceased by his loving stepfather Horace Bourget.  Dear brother of Yolande Chevrette (predeceased by George), Denis Michaud (Bev), Rita Basso (Ronnie), Suzanne Knight (John), Richard Michaud (Bev) and Claude Bourget.  Special uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Ray was happiest with his family at his side, and he celebrated the addition of each new great grandchild.  A special thank you to his friends in the building, the Bayshore team especially Laura (PSW) and Stephanie (RPN) as well as Dr. Walton who kept Ray comfortable at home.  Cremation has already taken place.  As per Ray’s wishes there will be no visitation.  A Celebration of Life and lunch will take place at 11am on Tuesday July 20th at the Caruso Club in the Heritage Hall (Lower Hall).  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Maison McCulloch Hospice https://maisonsudburyhospice.org/en/donate/or Pet Save Sudbury https://petsavesudbury.com/donate/.
