O’Reilly, Timothy

January 28, 1960 - December 14, 2021

(61 years)

In the early afternoon on December 14, 2021, Timothy (Tim, Timber, T-Cat Tim) O’Reilly passed away peacefully at home. Surrounded by his family, Tim enjoyed the aroma of crisp winter air and smiled at the sounds of snowmobiles passing by as he prepared for his final ride.

Tim touched so many lives. He is cherished by Janet O’Reilly, his wife of 32 years; by his children Jessica (Christopher), Keegan (predeceased), and Shannon; by his parents Gary and Celine (both predeceased); by his brother Daniel and nephew Benjamin (spouse Tatiana, grand nephew Nathan); by his parents-in-law Jim and Linda; his sister-in-law Karen (Jim “the Liver Giver,” niece Mary-Katherine, nephews Noah and William); and by his brother-in-law Jamie (Trisha, nephew Michael, nieces Kaylee and Cori).

Tim’s life was rich with friendships, and he leaves behind many broken hearts. The family is grateful to each of you. Thank you for your love and support over the years and in the difficult weeks since his diagnosis of cancer. Please carry the positive memories with you. They are plentiful, and they are Tim’s gift to us.

A private Celebration of Life will take place this coming spring.

  1. Sincere condolences to Janet, Jess and Shannon. Tim was truly a genuine man. Always there for you and good for a laugh. Will always remember the great times at the Molson Indy and our snowmobile trips to Quebec. I will pass the gas can around this winter.
    RIP my friend.

  2. Very sad to hear of Tim’s passing. We’d met as strangers on a bike ride from Pancake Bay to Wawa in 2010 and have stayed in touch ever since. I’ll miss him for sure.
