In loving memory of Maurice (Big Moe) Picard who passed away peacefully at the age of 70, on January 24th, 2016 at Health Sciences North with his loving family by his side. Loving son of the late Arthur and Florida (Gauthier) Picard. He leaves behind his brother Ray (Karen), André (Bev predeceased), Fern (Debbie) and his two sisters, Aline (Don predeceased), Claire (Dennis) (René Robineau predeceased) and many nieces and nephews. Maurice worked at Inco (Vale) for 33 years. He loved golf, fishing and hunting with his brothers. He loved hosting family gatherings. He was a very generous man and would always help anyone who needed it. Maurice will be forever missed by his family and friends who loved him deeply. The family would like to thank the I.C.U. doctors and nurses for the care and compassion they gave him and his family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Maison Vale Hospice https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/maison-vale-hospice/ or ALS. At Moe’s request there will be no Funeral Service. A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date.
So sorry to hear of Maurice’s passing. Our sympathy goes out to all the family at this sad time.
