It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at the age of 98 years. She died peacefully among family at Pioneer Manor. Loving wife of Johnny Dorima Pilon (predeceased), mother to Aline Oman (Roger predeceased) and Nicole Zloty (Stan). Grandmother to Gisèle Robert VanHijfte (Joris), André Robert (Teresa) and Ryan Zloty. Great grandmother to Justin, Mélanie, Jasmine, Monique, Haylee and Zoey.
Survived by her sister Florida Aubin, predeceased by siblings Rosa Lavergne, Amanda Tremblay, Irène Carriere, Diane Vandeboncoeur, Cécile Richer, Rita Devost, Couranna Dignard, Rosalia Lafontaine, Lucia Daoust, Lucienne Page, Orilda Rouleau, Wilfrid Devost and Rheal Devost (Laurette). She was an aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Anita was a devoted Catholic and attended St- Eugene Parish until closure. She enjoyed playing card games, puzzles, bingo, doing word searches puzzle, knitting, crocheting, baking and fishing.
At Anita’s request there will be no visitations or services.
