In loving memory of Richard “Rick” Potvin, 69 years, who passed away suddenly at Health Sciences North on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Beloved husband of Suzanne Potvin (Vaillancourt). Loving father of Rick (Pamela), Danny and Lynn. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Mathieu, Megan, Maija, Danika and Brianna. Rick was the youngest child of 13 siblings. He is survived by his sisters Claudette (Bill), Evelyn and his brother Jack. Fondly remembered by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Rick loved his family, his country music and the gatherings that included lots of laughs, music and guitar jamming. At Rick’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Donations to the charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated.
Damn it Rick, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You & Suzie, Al & Caroline were so special to me during my younger years. From working together at Carlos Transport when I was 15 or 16 years old to bringing my first born child over to visit your house in Chelmsford 12 years later. Many, Many wonderful memories! Sue, I am so sorry for your loss. I wish that we weren’t separated by so many miles. You guys are so often in my thoughts to this day. Happy times with great friends that will never be forgotten. All of our love to you and family Sue.
