It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Helen Quesnel, on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the age of 65 years. She will be greatly missed by her husband Rémi. Loving mother of Matthew (Andrea) and Nicholas (Teija). Cherished grandmother of her first grandchild Salem. Dear sister of Mary (Larry Burling), Steve, Walter and Stan (predeceased). She was a specially loved aunt of Brad, Mark, Jeff, Kris, Ryan, Tracy, Nadine, Bernadette, Chrissy and Helena. She will always be loved and never forgotten by those whose lives she touched. In keeping with Helen’s wishes there will be no funeral service. A Memorial will be held in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison Vale Hospice https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/maison-vale-hospice/ would be greatly appreciated.
I miss you mom.

So very, very sorry to hear of this great loss. When I transferred to the St. Joseph’s Health Centre from the Laurentian Site, Helen welcomed me with open arms. She was such a great help getting me settled into my new position. She showed her love of her family in her eyes every time she spoke of them. She was greatly missed when she retired. Extending my heartfelt sympathies to Remi and family. May God go with you on this journey and may He ease your hearts with this loss. Prayers for all……..Deb Clement

My thoughts and prayers are with you Rémi and the family during this difficult time. I was extremely saddened to hear of Helen’s passing and will always remember Helen as a kind hearted and devoted wife, mother and a very dear friend. Something small but truly sentimental sits on my desk at work with a beautiful saying “Friends…our lives were brought together for a reason and I will always be greatful…thank you for your love, your wisdom and your understanding. Thank you for being a part of my life”…a coffee mug that I use daily given to me as a Birthday Gift from Helen some 12 years ago…
