ROBILLARD, Mildred “Milly” (nee Deforest) 84 years – Passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Maison Vale Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. Born December 5, 1930 in Corbeil, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Evelyn Deforest (nee Daly). Loving mother of Danny (Karen), Joanne (Doug Ecker), Richard and Vivian (predeceased 2014). Cherished grandmother of Michael, Raven, Keenan and Steven. Dear sister of Edna, Fred (predeceased), Leo (predeceased) and Norman (predeceased). Milly spent a lot of time at the Elgin Street Mission socializing with all of her friends that were “family” to her. A big thank you to Pastor René, Danielle and Roxanne whom she spoke so fondly of. Also, the family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the staff at the Maison Vale Hospice for all the hard work and dedication they put into each and every day. A special thank you to her nurse Celine who answered many questions and made us feel at home and to Sister Marie and Sister Therese who were with her countless hours throughout her battle. A celebration of life will be held at the Elgin Street Mission on Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 2:00-5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Elgin Street Mission or the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted with Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd.
