After a lengthy battle with cancer Robert Sherman passed away at Health Sciences North on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Diane Houle (nee Young). Cherished father of David Sherman, Debbie Kurger (Rob), Rob Sherman (Tammy), Rubin Sherman, James Houle (Crystal), Mathew Houle (Jessica-Lea), Giselle Moore (Tom) and foster father of Lacey and Michelle. Proud grandfather of Lana, Joshua, Kristen, Kurt, Summer, Dylan, Danica, Josh, Kassidy, Ashley, Mathew, Michael, and Marlena. Loving son of Ervin and Ruth Sherman (both predeceased). He will be remembered and missed by many friends and family. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting for weeks on end. He had a passion for baseball and umpired the local house leagues for many years. He also loved the game of golf and enjoyed spending time with friends and family on the course. A Celebration of Bob’s Life will take place at the Monte Vista Golf Club, 2516 old Hwy 69 N, Val Caron on Sunday, December 3, 2017. Family and friends are welcome from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
My Mom (Janette) & I (Sofia) extend deepest sympathies to all of you. Wish I could be there but I will be out of town. Bob was a true friend to my Dad, “Selmi.” They are both sadly missed. Bye for now, Until we meet again. Sofia.

Bob, my sweet, I thank you for the amazing man that you were! The stars are shining in the galaxies as the heavens welcome back one of its own! Thank you for everything that you were to my sister, the children and the entire family.
