May 30, 1945 - February 26, 2023
Passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Health Sciences North at the age of 77.
Survived by his daughters Helen, Yvette (Fred), Gisele, his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Gaston retired from Falconbridge after many years of service before that he served proudly in the Canadian Army with the Royal Canadian Dragoons and operated a tank. He was awarded the United Nations Cyprus Medal.
In his younger days, he enjoyed downhill skiing and loved taking his trailer to jamborees.

I am so sorry to hear of Gaston’s passing. He was a much loved friend of my husband, Don (Red) Haggart, who passed away one year ago. He was a good man with a big heart who’s smile and laughter were infectious – A good man, gone too soon. My heartfelt condolances to family and
